Rich & Creamy Melt Organic is the flagship product of Prosperity Organic Foods, a company committed to creating great tasting organic products through innovative uses of healthy fats and oils.

Rich & Creamy Melt Organic is a butter alternative that is truly delicious, contains the perfect organic blend of the healthiest fats that support healthy weight loss when replacing other fats in your daily diet. Melt is certified organic and kosher, soy free, trans fat free and gluten free. Melt is a great butter solution for consumers who suffer from digestive and dietary issues.


As a young start-up with a small team, Prosperity Organic Foods needed help getting their product into the minds of their target market, on the shelves of leading suppliers and creating initial online buzz. The primary brand goals were:

  • Create consumer awareness
  • Establish the product in major suppliers like Whole Foods, Henry’s, Fred Meyer, Albertsons, and Trader Joe’s
  • Build online relevance for the product through early adopters and social brand ambassadors

Over the last several years, MODE 3 has worked with Prosperity Organic Foods to help launch and establish their flagship product, Rich & Creamy Melt Organic. MODE 3 has been responsible for digital marketing and strategy, creative development, and messaging for the brand, with comprehensive efforts including: SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, public relations, analytics, idea/campaign generation and blogging, website copy and social media messaging development.


In April of 2012, Rich & Creamy Melt was featured on the Dr. Oz show as a butter substitute that could increase metabolism as well as promote several health benefits for people that have strict dietary and digestive restrictions. Prosperity Organic Foods challenged MODE 3 to come up with a way to leverage the enormous Dr. Oz following and maximize website traffic, online sales, social media engagement and overall growth of their social fan community.

MODE 3 responded with the #MeltForLife campaign that encouraged brand fans to watch the Dr. Oz show, and live tweet or update their Facebook status in real-time with the #MeltForLife message as well as their thoughts on the show. Additionally, fans were required to ‘Like’ the Rich & Creamy Melt Organic Facebook page and ‘follow’ the Twitter handle to be entered into a social sweepstakes that would award one lucky winner with unlimited, free Rich & Creamy Melt Organic for the rest of their life. 


The campaign was a huge and instant success, and Prosperity Organic Foods was busy filling online orders for six months after the product was featured on Dr. Oz. The campaign resulted in monthly, sustained increases in: website traffic (organic traffic up 420%, direct traffic up 153%, Facebook traffic up 913%); product sales from the website (up 10x); social network fan/follower increases (Facebook fan engagement up 435%, Twitter followers up 2x); Organic SEO Rankings and in-store purchases (sales revenues 2X).
